In what can only be described an exercise in bad taste and/or an internet prank courtesy of some Tweeter - you decide - seminal Canadian folk-rocker Gordon Lightfoot was reported dead today. The Vancouver Sun trumpeted the news, but soon pulled their story, as it rapidly appeared that Mr. Lightfoot is hale and hearty and has no immediate plans to shuffle off this mortal coil. In fact, he’s on a 26-city tour right now.
