The Beatles caught my attention on this day in Rock and Roll History:
1965: The lads from Liverpool finished recording my Desert Island Disc, Rubber Soul.
1969: The Fab Four appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone. This is particularly notable because it was their final photo session as a band.
