A couple significant events in Rock & Roll History involving the Rolling Stones occurred on October 25th:

1960: Primary school classmates Mick Jagger and Keith Richards ran into each other for the first time in years on a train. Apparently, Mick notice Keef had a bunch of American blues records. It’s a good thing Mick was so observant.

1964: The Rolling Stones made their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show…and conservative parents were pissed, flooding CBS with letters to express their displeasure. Seriously, who could get angry with those nice lads from England who were such fans of American blues?
