As I moved from the south end of the grounds to the north last night while sampling bands, I was drawn to the Cascio Groove Garage by the party atmosphere and sound of The Invaders.

A Milwaukee staple for twenty years, The Invaders play a unique brand of fuel-injected Ska. They are one of those immensely fun bands that compel you to get up and dance to the positive vibrations.

They feature a great horn section and violinist, and you’ve gotta love a vibrant and engaging front man who wears a fez.

Led Zep, the Stones and The Who are just some of our favorites. Any modern bands come to mind? What are your thoughts? Register on Rock and Roll Blog now and get published within minutes. Before posting, it is recommended that you review our posting guidelines.
