CSNY: Rock & Roll History

June 6, 1970: Crosby, Stills Nash & Young released “Teach Your Children” as a single.

This anthem by Graham Nash, from my Desert Island Disc Deja Vu, gained new meaning for me when my darlin’ daughters were born.

I always loved the song, to be sure, but its significance in my life grew by leaps and bounds in 1995.

I expect CSN will do it again when we see them in August. If so, it will be the third time the girls have seen them perform it and the 20+ time for me.

Led Zep, the Stones and The Who are just some of our favorites. Any modern bands come to mind? What are your thoughts? Register on Rock and Roll Blog now and get published within minutes. Before posting, it is recommended that you review our posting guidelines.
